There are so many products I’m loving at the moment but throughout the past few Summer months I’m finding these are the ones I have been reaching for on almost a daily basis.

Mon Guerlain

First up is this gold *simple knot cuff from Stella and Dot. I was gifted this at a Stella and Dot event I was recently invited to.  They had so many beautiful pieces of jewellery to showcase but this cuff was one of my favourites. The simple and classic design goes with practically everything I own. It’s the perfect piece of jewellery to finish off any outfit.

Next up is this beautiful perfume, *Mon Guerlain which I have been reaching for all Summer. I was introduced to this fragrance at St Enoch Centre’s Colour of Summer event where I met the lovely Harriet who is the business development manager for Guerlain. She was so passionate about the brand and spoke about the history behind the brand. Did you know Guerlain invented the lipstick and bronzer? Well, you do now.

This feminine fragrance inspired by Angelina Jolie is a delicate mix of jasmine, sandalwood, lavender, and vanilla. Don’t let the lavender to put you off, it blends beautifully with the rest of ingredients and smells fresh and oriental. Not only does the fragrance smell beautiful the pretty bottle is the perfect edition to my my dressing table.

st tropez

Another Summer favourite of mine has been the *St Tropez gradual tan tinted body lotion. It’s so easy to apply, in fact it’s as easy as applying your daily moisturiser and gives an instant Summer glow. It’s completely streak free and leaves my skin feeling moisturised as well as giving me a natural looking tan and healthy glow.  It can be build up over a few days for a darker tan.

L'occitane milk concemtrate

This L’occitane Milk Concentrate has been in my box of beauty supplies for ages. I’m sure it was in a set I received as a Christmas gift and now I have tried it I can’t believe I have left it lying in a box for so long. This body moisturiser feels amazing when applied. It’s perfect for dry legs and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I’ve currently been applying this on a daily basis and my skin has never felt softer, it also smells so good. It is a little on the pricey side so once this is finished it’s probably not something I can afford to lather all over my body on daily basis but lovely as a little treat every now and again.

The revitalising beauty booster from OM skincare was something I picked up recently in the Space NK sale. I had never heard of the brand before but I’m sucker for any kind of beauty boosting product as I find my skin can look dull at times. I was also sucked in by the really pretty packing but I’m happy to report this little bottle is god send. I have been mixing in with my foundation to give me that extra glow and stop dryness, all you need is one little drop. It’s also nice worn alone to give your skin a boost.

Benefit’s original Hoola Bronzing Powder is a probably one of the first bronzers I purchased and have re-purchased over the years so I’m sure you will understand my excitement about the latest products from the Hoola range – the Hoola Quickie Contour Stick and Hoola Lite.

Contouring is not my strong point so I love how easy to use and effective the Hoola Quickie Contour Stick is. For defined cheekbones and a sculpted face apply this beneath your cheek bones, on your forehead (just beneath your hairline) and along either side of your noise. It literately took me no time at all to apply this product. It was easy to bend and the results were natural and long lasting. Trust me, if you aren’t good at contouring this is the product for you.

I love that Benefit have launched a bronzer for us paler gals. Although I love the original Hoola Bronzing Powder (which is one of Benefit’s best sellers)  I am very fair skinned so I do have to be careful with how much I apply so I don’t end up looking too tantastic. I only really use bronzer in the Summer months when I have a bit more colour to my face but with Hoola Lite I will be able to use all year round.  It blends in super easy and leaves my skin with a lovely natural glow and if I want to go slightly darker all I need to do is apply a little more. I can also see this product becoming a best seller.

When it comes to applying make-up, for me it’s all about the base. As long as I have a good base I’m good to go. I’ve never really been one for big bold eyes or bright lips, I like the natural look.

The first thing I look for is a good primer so my make-up lasts as long as possible and then it’s all about the coverage. I like to minimize the appearance of the pores around my nose to and cover any imperfections on my face. Once I have done that the rest of my make-up application comes together really quickly.

Benefit’s The POREfessional face primer has been in my make-up bag since it hit the shelves. It provides such a a good base and feels velvety smooth on my skin. It minimizes the appearance of pores, fine lines and creates a smooth base for the next stage of my make-up application. It also contains vitamin E to protect skin from free radicals which can age skin and I’m all for anything that helps to slow down the aging process.

The POREfessional pore minimizing make-up is the latest launch in Benefit’s the POREfessional range. This lightweight formula covers imperfections and minimizes the appearance of pores without clogging them. It glides on and blends really easy with the little sponge (at the bottom of the tube). It also gives my skin a light coverage but I still feel I need to use my foundation or tinted moisturiser after this but it certainly gives me a more flawless base and less foundation is needed once I have applied this.

What are your favourite products to create the perfect base?

It’s not everyday you get an eyebrow treatment in the back of a pink 4×4 but that’s what happened last week when the Benefit BrowMobile was in town.  Benefit are on a mission to transforn the nations brows and for the next three months the BrowMobile will be touring the country wowing people’s brows. The BrowMobile is kitted out with eveything you will find at one of their brow bars including the most experience brow experts.  If you head over to the Benefit Facebook page you can find out who you can win a visit from the BrowMobile.

I love getting the Benefit Brow treatment. I’m allergic to eyebrow dye so unfortunatly I can’t go for the tint – just the wax but the great thing is, there are so many products I can use instead of the tint. If you read my last review on Benefit brow products you may remember I spoke about KaBrow which is what I use to add a bit of colour and fullness to my brow but there are also some amazing products to help maintain your perfect brow.

This contains keratin and soy protiens which will help the brows to look thicker and fuller. When I first wrote about the product on my blog I hadn’t used it for long enough to see the results but after using on a daily basis for the past nine month I can honestly say my brows do look thicker and fuller. I use it every morning, it’s great just to shape your brows or to prep them for adding a product such as Ka Brow. It also last for ages, I’m still using the same one I got last July but I think its nearly finished so I’m so pleased to have another one to start using.

This is one of the very few products in the range I hadn’t tried until the other day and I love it. This clear gel shapes and tames brows holding them in place for 24 hours. This can be worn alone to help shape them or over your brow product to make it last all day.

What are your favourite brow products?

I feel like bareMinerals have just launched my ideal lip range – GEN NUDE. GEN NUDE comes in 4 state of the art formulas in 40 bespoke shades ranging from beige, pink, peach and mauve shades. The 4 different formulas are the radiant lipstick, buttercream lipgloss, matte liquid lipcolor and under over lip liner.

The radiant lipstick comes in 15 shades, providing medium coverage with a moisturising creamy texture. The buttercream lipgloss comes in 10 shades and this non sticky formula gives a  sheer to medium coverage while providing moisture, leaving lips looking plump. The matte liquid lipcolor also comes in 10 shades and provides long lasting, full coverage while moisturising the lips. Last but not least is the under over lip liner in 5 shades which is designed to be used under or over your lip product.  This creamy formula provides a velvety finish.

I was invited along to the GEN NUDE Taxi recently for a bespoke appointment to be colour matched for the new range and these were shades that were chosen for me.

I absolutely love the shades, they are just what I would go for as the colours are so wearable and complement my pale complexion. Each product gives a different finish.

The matte liquid lipcolour was my favourite, unlike some matte lip products I have tried this doesn’t make my lips look dry and cracked. The creamy texture glides on leaving my lips feeling and looking moisturised, the formula then dried on lips leaving a really nice matte coverage.

The buttercream lipgloss gives somewhere in between the finish of a lipstick and a hit of lip gloss. It’s much less sticky than most glosses and I avoided my hair sticking to my lipgloss when a gust wind came along. That’s a big plus in my book. It made my lips look very plump and moisturised with a nice shine and it’s super easy to apply.

The radiant lipstick just glided on and looked very natural but I was able to build up if I needed more colour. The texture was so creamy and mositurising on my lips.

Prices range from £14 to £18 and you can check out the full collection here.
